Dr. Wajiha Javed

Dr Wajiha Javed is a public health physician and epidemiologist with 15+ years of experience in strengthening health  systems, reproductive and maternal health, and communicable and non-communicable disease control. Currently  Associate Director of Public Health Research at Getz Pharma, with prior leadership roles at Pathfinder International,  Jhpiego, and Greenstar Social Marketing. Served as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator on 20+ large-scale studies  and RCTs, published 20+ peer-reviewed articles, and led Pakistan’s first national COVID-19 seroprevalence study.  Skilled in grant acquisition, policy advocacy, and mentoring health professionals, with a strong record of securing donor  funding and translating research into national health strategies.
